Account Executive (full-time)

Job Description

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for routine, often daily contact between the agency and assigned client account representatives.  As a liaison between the client and the agency, the AE serves as an advocate for the client, interfacing with various agency departments to advance projects and programs on behalf of the client and managing ongoing marketing or advertising programs.  This includes working side by side with the creative team, the strategy team, the media agency and its representatives, the digital team, and the accounting department with regard to billing and payments.

The AE contributes in developing strategic marketing plans for clients, promotes organic growth, and nurtures long-term account planning.  After plans are developed and presented to clients, the AE is responsible for carrying out the plans on a daily basis.

The AE is also responsible for gaining new business from new and existing clients.  The candidate for the AE position should have several years of experience in sales and customer service.  Advertising agency experience is preferred.  The AE is required to cold canvas prospects and new leads for new accounts.  The AE reports to the principal/director of accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface for clients, creative teams, and supporting vendors
  • Develop all pertinent client communications including formal project estimates and schedules, scope of work documents, weekly status reports, and meeting recaps / action items
  • Management of all project-related finances, including evaluation of estimates to actuals, and application of the change order process, when necessary
  • Understand and uphold Hallaron Advertising processes, and develop a deep knowledge base of agency service offerings and capabilities
  • Develop and write all project-related documentation, including formal creative briefs and revision requests
  • Frequent engagement with clients to identify marketing and advertising needs, and ability to brainstorm ideas on-the-fly to meet those needs
  • Coordinate all client presentations and team meetings
  • Keep the agency team informed, focused, and inspired about the work and the business
  • Maintain a clear understanding of designated client brand guidelines and their overall industry
  • Manage vendor expectations and documentation, including RFQs, proposals, and purchase orders
  • Actively seek additional projects / new business from client contacts
  • Keep project managers / juniors informed of client activities
  • Represent agency at industry and community functions

Qualifications

  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented
  • 3-5 years marketing or agency experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, or other relevant degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Working knowledge of channel sales and production vendor services
  • Experience with agency project management software a plus
  • Demonstrated client relations expertise, including working successfully through complex situations and positioning oneself as a trusted adviser
  • Strong project management capabilities

Project Manager (full-time)

Job Description

Hallaron Advertising is currently seeking a junior or entry-level Project Manager (PM).  This person will report to the Account Executives, coordinate ongoing marketing initiatives, and perform support services for the agency’s client service team.

We are looking for mature, capable candidates who are team- and goal-oriented, who have prior leadership experience, and who are interested in pursuing a professional career in advertising. Hallaron is a fast-paced agency located in The Woodlands.  We specialize in marketing strategy, advertising campaigns, media, and branding.  We work with local, regional, national and international clients.

Digital Team Leader (Contract)

Job Description

As Digital Team Leader the candidate will manage web development projects, contributing scoping skills for estimates and working with other digital and creative team members to plan, produce and promote client websites. The candidate should have extensive experience in website development, planning, wire framing, SEO and project management. In addition, the candidate must be proficient with digital marketing including Search, SEM, SEO, Google Analytics and all things Google. A contract position, the candidate will work remotely and come into the office for scheduled client and team meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Research, strategize, and implement new website plans, website revisions and SEO work to help achieve overall marketing goals and objectives of clients and the agency
  • Manage and collaborate closely with digital team contributors, including: web designers, social media, PPC, video editors, programmers, etc.
  • Work closely with creative team for matters of client strategy, art direction, content & copywriting, website design, and planning.
  • Coordinate with the lead account executive to closely monitor hours and manage approved budgets
  • Plan and execute SEO campaigns to ensure client KPI’s are met and exceeded
    • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
    • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
    • Develop and implement link building strategy; directory and other high value listings
    • Work with copywriting and accounts teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
    • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Track, report, and analyze website data and insights through analytical tools
  • Meet established deadlines
  • Attend meetings, pitches or calls when required with new and prospective clients to serve as digital and website expert offering expert insights, guidance and recommendations
  • Provide planning and estimation models to accounts team
  • Track assigned jobs, tasks, and billable hours for accurate, up-to-date billing and payment

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in marketing, technology or related field, or
  • Minimum of 7+ years of practical digital, web development, SEO, search marketing and marketing experience
  • Prior experience in crafting comprehensive digital marketing strategy, planning and working closely with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, strong writing and presentation skills
  • Must be highly organized and able to successfully manage many projects at once
