Digital Team Leader (contract)

Job Description

As Digital Team Leader the candidate will manage and contribute hands-on skills to the development of websites, website revisions and upgrades, digital marketing work including Search, SEM, SEO, Google Analytics and all things Google. A contract/freelance position, the candidate will ideally work at least two days a week in the office and remotely for the other weekly work days. Reports to the Creative Director as a contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Research, strategize, and implement new website plans, website revisions and SEO work to help achieve overall marketing goals and objectives of clients and the agency
  • Manage and collaborate closely with internal or freelance digital team contributors, including: web designers, social media, PPC, video editors, programmers, etc.
  • Work closely with creative team for matters of client strategy, art direction, content & copywriting, website design, and planning.
  • Plan and execute SEO campaigns to ensure client KPI’s are met and exceeded
    • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
    • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
    • Develop and implement link building strategy; directory and other high value listings
    • Work with copywriting and accounts teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
    • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Track, report, and analyze website data and insights through analytical tools
  • Meets established deadlines
  • Attend meetings, pitches or calls when required with new and prospective clients to serve as digital and website expert offering expert insights, guidance and recommendations
  • Provide planning and estimation models to accounts team
  • Track related and assigned jobs, tasks, and billable hours via Function Point agency system for accurate, up-to-date billing and payment

Qualifications

  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 3-5 years marketing or agency experience in SEO, SEM, digital marketing, web development, web design, WordPress
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to professionally pitch and advise clients
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong, proven project management capabilities
  • Team player attitude with the ability to handle many different personalities, both internally and externally

Project Manager (full-time)

Job Description

Hallaron Advertising is currently seeking a junior or entry-level Project Manager (PM).  This person will report to the Account Executives, coordinate ongoing marketing initiatives, and perform support services for the agency’s client service team.

We are looking for mature, capable candidates who are team- and goal-oriented, who have prior leadership experience, and who are interested in pursuing a professional career in advertising. Hallaron is a fast-paced agency located in The Woodlands.  We specialize in marketing strategy, advertising campaigns, media, and branding.  We work with local, regional, national and international clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist account team with client service issues and tasks
  • Communicate with clients, creative teams, and supporting vendors
  • Assist on all pertinent client communications including formal project estimates and schedules, scope of work documents, weekly status reports, and meeting recaps / action items
  • Learn how to manage project-related finances, including budgets, evaluation of estimates to actuals, and application of the change order process, when necessary
  • Understand and uphold Hallaron Advertising processes, and develop a knowledge base of agency service offerings and capabilities
  • Develop and write project-related documentation, including formal creative briefs and revision requests
  • Frequent engagement with clients to identify marketing and advertising needs
  • Write creative and strategic briefs that assist agency teams in meeting client’s needs
  • Coordinate client presentations and team meetings
  • Keep the agency team informed, focused, and inspired about the work and the business
  • Maintain a clear understanding of client brand strategy and brand guidelines
  • Manage vendor expectations and documentation, including estimates, proposals, and purchase orders
  • Represent agency at industry and community functions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, or other relevant degree
  • 1-2 years marketing or business experience, including internships
  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented self-starter
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under time pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Marketing / Sales experience a plus
  • Goal-oriented, solution seeker
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Willingness to learn new skills and ad agency practices
